Love Island: Everything you missed on episode 37

Love Island viewers were treated to yet another recoupling during Sunday’s episode of the show which saw the girls choose which boys they wanted to pair-up with.

While many stuck with with their long-standing show partners, there were a few fiery moments, including a savage speech aimed at Mitchel Taylor as his ex Abi Moores slammed him for how she felt she’d been treated by him over the last week.

The moment saw fans of the show predict Mitchel’s downfall after Abi chose to set her sights on Scott Van Der Sluis.

Elsewhere, Ella Thomas made a demand of her partner Tyrique Hyde after a run-in with bombshell Ella Barnes before it was revealed Mitchel would try and win Abi back in upcoming scenes.

Love Island fans predict downfall for Mitchel after Ella B recoupling

Love Island viewers predicted Mitchel Taylor‘s downfall during Sunday’s episode as they insisted Ella Barnes was using him to stay in the villa.

Show fans let their thoughts be known as gas engineer Mitchel, 26, told his former series partner Abi Moores, 25, she had given him the ‘ick’, with Abi telling the other female Islanders: ‘The ick is known to be something you can never come back from.’

Bombshell Ella B, 23, arrived in the villa last week and chose to couple-up with Mitchel after the pair went on a date together, stealing him from Abi.

The pair were joined on their date by Ella B’s fellow new addition Josh Brocklebank, 26, who opted to pair-up with Jess Harding, 22, stealing him from Sammy Root, also 22.

Championship dancer and model Ella B has been seen flirting with Mitchel while flight attendant Abi has been forced to look on, growing increasingly unsure of where she stands with him.

After confronting him on a number of occasions, Mitchel grew impatient on Sunday, telling Abi she’d given him ‘the ick’, with fans insisting Abi should move on with someone else.

However, many viewers did not think Mitchel was safe in the villa with Ella B as they insisted she was just using him to secure her place on the show.

One person wrote: ‘Ella B is clearly playing Mitch cuz he’s an easy target and I’m here for it.’

While someone else shared: ‘Not a chance Ella likes Mitch, she just needs to be coupled up and knows Mitch is an easy in.’

Another insisted: ‘Ella B does not like Mitch. She’s forcing it to stay in the villa and it’s blatantly obvious.’

‘Mitch is so gonna regret thinking that Ella B has any kind of interest in him other than her place in the villa – could you get any closer,’ commented one other show fan.

Someone else asked: ‘Did you guys see the frown that developed on Ella’s face when she was in bed with Mitch? Yeah she’s tired of him already.’

While someone else insisted: ‘Mitch is actually a fool if he believes for one second that Ella B wants him lol.’

Calling for Abi to move on from Mitchel, someone else tweeted: ‘Abi is still talking? Babes as soon as he said “ick” it was over bye.’

While another person remarked: ‘Does Abi have shame??? If I was told I gave someone the ick I wouldn’t be walking around talking to everyone.’

Someone else exclaimed: ‘If a man told me i gave him the ick I would acc never talk to him again. Abi get a f**king grip.’

While another viewer wrote: ‘God forbid a man ever told me he had the ick LOL Abi is a better woman than me.’

During the episode’s recoupling, Ella chose to stick with Mitch, leaving Abi to choose Scott Van Der Sluis, 22, to pair up with.

Ella Thomas makes a ‘savage’ demand after run-in with love rival Ella B

Love Island viewers couldn’t hide their shock after Ella T had an awkward run in with rival Ella B on Sunday.

The Scottish model 23, made a point of forcing the bombshell, also 23, to move from her seat as they continued to battle over the affections of Tyrique Hyde, 24.

As the girls were getting ready around mirrors in the dressing room Ella T appeared to go out of her way to prove who was boss. 

She told the new addition: ‘Ella can you move there, because all my stuff are in these draws?’

Sighing and getting to her feet the bombshell replied: ‘Yeah but Jess is there and all my stuff’s here but….’ 

Ella T quickly pointed out: ‘Or there’s another [seat] there,’ as she seemingly did everything she could to make her point.

Blonde Ella B then lugged her belongings to a new seat as he rival sat down and continued to apply her make-up.  

Taking to Twitter one fan said:  ‘Lol the double Ella confrontation chat had me on the edge of my seat! Ella [T] wanted to go for her face.’

A second wrote: ‘But [Ella T] didn’t ask for an excuse she literally asked her to move to another seat …. that is being vila, just cos of a man that is not even yours yet.’

Someone else said: ‘Ella T asking Ella B to leave her seat in the dressing room is uncalled for. Very mean.’

A fourth wrote: ‘Ella [T] needs to chill. No manners at all. Do you know how rude it is to tell someone to move from a seat they are sitting on. Plus after they get up for you, you don’t say thank you? I hate rude girls.’

And a fifth fumed: ‘It is a big deal because A) Ella could have waited fro Ella B to finish, or B) Ella OG could have asked Ella B i she could grab a few things out of the draw and then took herself over to the spare seat instead of making Ella B move when she’d already started her face.’

After her arrival, it emerged Ella B already knew Tyrique after they first met on nights out and chatted over social media years ago.

The news left Tyrique’s partner Ella was left shaken, with Ella B predicting there would be a ‘battle of the Ellas’ if she chose to set her sights on Tyrique.

But elsewhere during Sunday night’s episode, the pair sat down for a chat and attempt to clear the air.

Ella B said: ‘I wanted to clear the air. Obviously, me coming in is not easy. With the whole Ty thing we do know each other and maybe I did say something that I apologise for – I shouldn’t have said ‘Battle of the Ellas’. I didn’t mean it in a malicious way.’

Ella replied: ‘From my side, I don’t have anything bad against you. I feel like we’ve got off on a bit of the wrong foot. Me and you have never actually had a one on one conversation but I still tried to be friendly and civil.’

She added: ‘Ty has kissed lots of girls and for me that doesn’t really mean anything.’

However, Ella B then revealed: ‘He did say to me ‘That was a shame that was the last kiss’ and that’s why I said there were mixed signals because he just told me it was closed off.’

Later that evening, Ella spoke with Tyrqiue about the comment he made to Ella B about it being a shame that was their last kiss when they’d previously seen each other in a club.

Tyrique replied: ‘Why would you not talk to me after?’

Ella said: ‘It’s always something.’

Tyrique responded: ‘So, you don’t trust me now?’

Ella Thomas breaks down in tears as she becomes embroiled in a heated row with partner Tyrique 

Love Island’s Ella Thomas broke down in tears during Sunday night’s episode as she became embroiled in another heated row with partner Tyrique Hyde over his former flame Ella Barnes.

After the bombshells arrival on Thursday, it emerged Ella B, 23, already knew Tyrique, 24, after they first met and kissed on nights out and chatted over social media years ago.

And after Ella B and Tyrique had a flirty conversation, Ella has admitted she’s: ‘exhausted of pulling him up’.

During a tense conversation with Tyrique, Ella said: ‘So I spoke to Ella today, you told me you weren’t on it but she told me you were flirting.’

Tyrique snapped back: ‘She knows what she’s doing, why wouldn’t you talk to me after. So you don’t trust me now?’

Ella replied: ‘Since she came in you’ve been singing her praises. I’ve not done anything to you can you calm down, I’m just trying to have a conversation.

‘I’m tired of hearing sh*t. I’m exhausted’.

Tyrique added: ‘All the progress and communication, is that it done. Sack it off then.

‘I think what we have is real but if you can’t trust me or believe then it won’t work. I’m tired of you not trusting me.’

Tyrique then emotionally told the boys: ‘This is why I don’t do feelings, I was going to tell her I loved her in front of everyone.’ 

Sharing their opinions on Twitter, one fan wrote: ‘Ella’s gonna need a buckets and buckets for all tears she is going to cry when she and Tyrique come back to the real world’

Another penned: ‘OG Ella needs to stop being bothered by everything Ty says. I’m tired’

A third said: OG Ella needs to stop whinging though if you can’t hack it babes then leave Ty’

Championship dancer and model Ella B, entered the villa along with fellow bombshell Josh Brocklebank, 26, during Thursday’s episode.

Tyrique was left gobsmacked as he realised he knew new bombshell Ella B during the dramatic episode.

Ella B had been out on a date with Mitch and when they returned to the villa Tyrique simply exclaimed ‘f**k’ as she strolled in through the doors.

He immediately turned to his current partner – also called Ella – and said: ‘Man I know her’.

As they had a hug, bombshell Ella B flirted straight away and told Tyrique: ‘Nice to see your face!’

Later Tyrique told the others: ‘I’ve known her for a bit through socials. She is from Kent near me.’

Ella B revealed their history later on the episode, saying to new male bombshell Josh: ‘Yeah, we’ve chatted, we’ve kissed. I saw him quite recently…

‘I know he’s fully closed off with her but they’ve had a few bumps… me and him have history.

‘I feel like if there is any one person to turn his head it’ll be me.’

Ella B later pulled Tyrique for a chat as she said to him: ‘You know I fancy you. I know we get on so maybe it will be the battle of the Ellas. Just a few months ago you were kissing my face.’

Tyrique then flirted back as he said it was a ‘shame’ it was their last kiss, with bombshell Ella B later telling an unimpressed Jess Harding about his comment.

Tyrique previously upset Ella by admitting he ‘missed the game’ while coupled up with her.

The footballer appeared to be certainly putting his interests first as he admitted he wished he was picked by Kady during the last re-coupling – although that could mean for Ella to go home.

In a typically rocky conversation, Ella told Tyrique to ‘go back to the game then’.

Mitchel attempts to win Abi back despite her slamming him as lacking ‘loyalty and respect’ 

Love Island’s Mitchel Taylor is set to try and win back his ex Abi Moores in upcoming show scenes after he was chosen as a partner by bombshell Ella Barnes during Sunday’s recoupling.

In a sneak peek which aired during this weekend’s Aftersun, Mitchel, 26, was seen telling Abi, 25, ‘no one compares to you’ despite previously leaving fans seething after he told her she gave him ‘the ick’.

Flight attendant Abi was left shaken after Ella B’s arrival in the villa last week when the newcomer chose to couple-up with gas engineer Mitchel after they went on a date together.

However, she took back her power during Sunday’s episode when she told Mitchel she did not like how he’d treated her since the initial recoupling, as she chose to pair-up with Scott Van Der Sluis, 22, this weekend.

And in upcoming scenes, Mitchel is set to let Abi know how he felt about her speech before telling her he plans to set his sights on her.

Mitchel said: ‘I’m not happy with your speech. That were a bit s**tty from you. I mean, don’t – I’m not expecting an apology or anything.

‘My head’s been scrambled. I do like Ella.’

Abi responded: ‘Look at how it looks to me. You’re cuddling her in bed. I’ve not had any chats with you. Any kind of inkling that there’s anything going to happen.

‘Every single time we’ve spoken, it’s been: “I’m really enjoying getting to know Ella.”‘

Mitchel then said: ‘I’ve said it before, right now, no one compares to you.

‘Thing is, if I lose you and Ella trying to get you, then I’m happy.’

It comes after Abi gave a savage speech aimed at Mitchel during Sunday’s episode as she announced she wanted to couple-up with footballer Scott.

She said: ‘I’d like to couple up with this boy as I think it’s safe to say that neither of us have had a smooth journey in here.

‘Especially when other people are getting involved in situations, causing triangles.

‘Since getting to know this boy, he displayed a lot of characteristics that I find attractive, like loyalty and respect.

‘Which I don’t feel I’ve had over the past few days. And I feel like this is a good opportunity for us to get to know each other better and explore if there could be a connection.’

Love Island fans reveal their fears for the finale as the end date is leaked on Aftersun

Love Island viewers have been left fuming over the lack of ‘solid couples’ in the villa, just two weeks ahead of the grand final –  after the show’s end date was leaked on Sunday’s Aftersun. 

The last few days has seen uproar as Mitchel told Abi she gave him ‘the ick’ and Ella T and Ella B fought it out for the affections of Tyrique.

And now fans are concerned there is no ‘top four’ resulting in unpopular pairing Molly and Zach ‘sneaking through’ to the grand final batting it out for the £50K prize.

Taking to Twitter one said: ‘This season is actually hilarious there’s 2 weeks left until the final and there are NO SOLID COUPLES.’

A second wrote: ‘How is the final in like 2 weeks and there is no top 4 couples.’

A third said: ‘This is the state of the couples and the final is in 2 weeks. Wrap it up.’

While someone else added:  ‘Not one solid couple and it’s the final in like 2 weeks?’

And another said: ‘The way the final is in 2 weeks and all the couple still have drama.’

With sixth writing: ‘2 weeks left to the final and we have a couple literally sleeping with a WALL OF PILLOWS!  More chaotic than this, only if they end up in the final. And you know what I kind of love it!’

And another commented: ‘2 weeks left and Zach and Molly could make the final.’

And: ‘Molly and Zach sneaking their way into the final. I hate it here.’

While someone else fumed: ‘Y’all let Zach and Molly to the final and I’m never forgiving y’all.’

After much speculation the show’s end date was seemingly leaked by Sam Thompson on Aftersun. 

Discussing Ella Barnes’ arrival with host Maya Jama he let slip that the bombshell had only two and a half weeks to make her move on Tyrique. 

That means the live final is likely to take place the week beginning July 31st.
