Teenage driver, 19, dies and another man in hospital with ‘serious injuries’ after three-vehicle crash

A 19-year-old teenage driver has died and another man is in hospital with ‘serious injuries’ after a three-vehicle crash in Yorkshire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on the A1079 York Road, Pocklington, after the crash happened at around 3.30pm on Friday July 14.
Humberside Police said the teenager was initially taken to hospital with suspected minor injures.
But a police spokesperson revealed that the young drive sadly died on Sunday morning.
Another man, whose age has not yet been revealed, remains in hospital with serious injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.

It’s been reported that a silver Mini One, black Ford Fiesta and blue Ford Tourneo were involved in the crash.
York Road was closed to allow emergency services to work safely, police added.
The family of the driver have been informed and police say they are being supported by specially trained officers.
‘Our thoughts remain with them at this time,’ a police spokesperson said.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV footage from around the time of the crash or anyone information that could help with their investigation to come forward.
